Our Current Projects

WCC judiciously selects its annual fundraising projects. Currently, we are raising funds for the following causes.

Gary Sinise Foundation, for the Benefit of Andrew Bottrell

WCC Charities is partnering with the Gary Sinise Foundation to help our wounded heroes increase their mobility and reclaim their self-reliance. Through the foundation’s R.I.S.E. program, we hope to provide one wounded hero with customized, automated smart home retrofits to help him live more independently. The recipient of this home will be Andrew Bottrell, who resides in Southern California.
While deployed with Seal Team 10 to Afghanistan in October 2011, US Navy EOD1 Andrew Bottrell was in a vehicle that was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) during a combat operation. He suffered extreme injuries, which led to a double leg amputation and a left arm amputation.
Following his injury, Andrew formed his own company: Bobcat Tactical Solutions, a complete research and development technology lab capable of handling any manner of military/government, public or private tech and equipment needs. Bobcat Tactical Solutions is certified by the VA Center for Evaluation and Certification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
With a smart home built by the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program, Andrew will reclaim his self-reliance to a substantial degree. He is the embodiment of an American hero, and WCC Charities is proud to work on his behalf. If you can help us, please donate.

Creative Solutions for Kids & Families

Every December, WCC Charities accepts donations of new, unwrapped toys for the foster children of Creative Solutions for Kids & Families in Moreno Valley, California. We also accept monetary donations to be used for the purchase of additional toys. The toys are wrapped and distributed as Christmas gifts by our very own Santa Claus during the foster agency’s annual holiday party. Organizations that wish to partner with us on this endeavor are welcome to Contact Us, and individuals are encouraged to donate.
